This type of service allows for patients to be transported by stretcher in one of our MedTech Ambulances and cared for by Cardiac EMT or a  Paramedic EMT along with EMT-Basic .  Patients that require ALS service probably need ALS interventions such as:

	IV therapy
	Medication administration
	Intubations or are intubated
	Ventilator support
	ECG monitoring
	Paramedics can transport patients being medicated with Heparin, Nitro, Agrastat.

	Wheelchair Transport
	Specialized Transport
